Week 18 in Vegas

We were very lucky to spend our 18th week preggo with friends (and co-workers) in Las Vegas. We ate way too much delicious food, gambled aggressively and won, and had a really great time! Here's a few pictures...

Our friends Pat & Celeste (co-workers of Taylor's) invited us over for a New Years party, it was a great night! Luckily, I made it past midnight, a huge accomplishment for me these days! :)

17 weeks

We're growing, quickly it seems!
We were 17 weeks on New Years Eve. The doctor said that many women begin to feel the baby move (flutter) anywhere between 15-20 weeks. I haven't felt anything yet, but I'm terribly anxious for it to happen already! It's that feeling like when you're a kid, waiting up for Santa...if only he'd show up already! So everybody starting crossing your fingers that she starts kicking soon :)

Happy 21st Birthday to ME! (OK, OK, 24th...give a girl a break!)

Me & the hubby. I don't know why we look so surprised and bug eyed!

My beautiful Mom

They brought champagne as a gift for my birthday, and brought me raspberry sprite, how sweet!
Thank you everyone for all of my birthday wishes, it was a wonderful day spent shopping with Taylor & Mom and then a delicious dinner at the Melting Pot!

The blue band is the waist of my maternity jeans rolled down. It's officially winter, and i'm fish belly white...literally!
Sorry we're a little behind on posting pictures, it's been a busy week for us!

Nesting has begun...

We ordered two of the large furniture pieces for Baby Hawes' nursery, and Taylor & I assembled the crib.
Grandma bought baby H a bunch of Eric Carle learning toys, so we displayed them on the crib for now.

Little Monster

These are the adorable baby shoes that Auntie Reese bought baby Hawes for Christmas! They have little monster claws :)
