Dear my gorgeous lil Camryn-bug,
I probably shouldn't be writing this now; your mommy just dropped me at
the airport and I'm crying-like, embarrassing crying-people are
staring at me at the airport. I only gave you a half a kiss before I
left, you were sleeping finally and mommy would have killed me if I
had woken you up. But I really wanted to snatch you outta that
carseat and take you with me. At least that's what your Uncle Heath
wanted me to do...but, I will be back in a couple of short months to
snatch you up. And I'll be in Austin for good, so I can snatch you up
and kiss your neck and make you laugh everyday!
This trip with you was so fun! I arrived on your 5 month birthday and OMG you are a totally different baby than when I saw you last. Obviously you are bigger-long and tall, but you have the biggest thighs I've ever seen on a baby! You get that from our side, the Toreson thighs, all of us have them except for your skinny mommy. And your eyes! ...so beautiful! You have your daddy's eyes for sure, but they are closer to green like your mommy's. You pay attention to everything going on around you. You are alert and receptive to the littlest things. You've also discovered your feet so I painted your toenails a piggy pink (and mommy's so you two match). You like to grab your feet and coo and sing. You also like to grab anything in your mommy's hands; sweet tea, Hey Cupcakes, keys, camera, iPads... You had a tough time getting to your naps this week too. You and I
discovered that we can make each other laugh hysterically and had so
much fun together. You made me laugh so hard that I cried my make up
off! We had so much fun that you fought yourself when it was nap
time. You didn't want to miss a thing and tried to stay awake when
you were clearly exhausted. I think mommy and daddy are relieved I'm
gone at least so you can get back on your regular sleeping schedule.
I'm so thankful that I got some time with you, and of course your mommy
and daddy. This time might have been the hardest to leave you and it
just makes me more eager to be in Austin permanently. I don't wanna
miss out on any more Camryn-isms. You are so smart and beautiful
already, and hope you know how much you are loved by everyone around
you.
