35.4 Weeks

35 weeks

Two of our great friends were married on Friday, so Taylor & I dressed up and helped them celebrate! Fitting into a dress at 35 weeks pregnant was no small task! :)
Here's a few more progress photos:

35 weeks

My back hurts lately....I wonder why?!

Taylor & I had our newborn care class on Saturday and reviewed a lot of things we already knew, but also learned a few great tips and tricks that should help, so it was an overall success. The best part of class was watching my big strong hubby carry around a little baby doll and dress her, change her diaper, and bathe her....of course I took a picture!

Mothers Day was absolutely wonderful, and I was spoiled with love from friends, family, and of course my sweet husband! My morning started off with apple-strudel waffles, bacon, and coffee...and the best part was when Taylor cleaned the kitchen after we ate! Then he brought on the gifts!!! Daddy & Camryn got me a beautiful charm bracelet and 3 charms to start my collection, as well as dangling pearl earrings (Camryn's birthstone is pearl). He also got me the "Mother to Daughter" book I wanted. He is so thoughtful in his gifts!

It was so beautiful out so we went to Lakeway for the day and ate lunch at Oasis overlooking the water. I could have stayed there forever, it was breathtaking! That's one of the things I love about Austin, a 30 min. drive and you can feel like you're on vacation in the Caribbean overlooking the ocean and little sandy islands!
We came home and played with the dogs with the hose and then took them for a walk, and then ended our night snuggled on the couch with ice cream sundaes. Does it get any better?! Thank you to everyone who helped make my first mothers day so wonderful and memorable. All your calls, texts, e-mails, and cards meant the world to me!

Big News!!! We had our 36 week ultrasound today to measure Camryn and determine her positioning, and she is in the 47th percentile, and weighs approximately 5 pounds 15 ounces. Dr. Breedlove is estimating her to weight between 7.5-8.5 lbs. by delivery (YAY!!! No 9 or 10 lb. baby for this mama) depending on if I go to 40 weeks or not. She is not only head down, but is VERY low, Dr. B was actually surprised by how low she is. I had my first of many cervical exams today and although Camryn's in the head down position and low, I am not yet dilated, but "very soft and thin". Taylor has been laughing at me because I no longer walk, I waddle. Also very exciting.....Dr. Breedlove is on-call at the hospital on our due date, so if I have not yet gone into labor by June 10th I will be scheduled for induction that morning! Anyone who voted that we'd deliver after the 10th voted wrong! 32 days left to either deliver or be induced...... :)
