Apples

Dear Camryn,

You reacted to Apples the same way you reacted to Bananas at first.....



But then you liked them!!






Apples are finger lickin' good!!

I really enjoy my time with you during meals, and it's the time during each day that I look forward to the most. You are such a snuggle bug when I nurse you, and after I burp you, you like nuzzling you head into my neck and just cuddling and relaxing with me. Solids is quite different, and quite messy! I love this time with you because it's so new for you and you're curious about everything; the food, the spoon, your bib. You still have a tongue thrust (normal in infants until 6-7 months) so most of your meal ends up running down your chin and onto your bib. You open your mouth when I make the spoon into an airplane, but once I get the spoon into your mouth you just smile and coo, so your food spills out. :)

There's nothing that brings me more joy than making these fun memories with you!!
